This week

This week we were able to spend time with friends in our garden on a few occasions. It was lovely to feel like we are now easing our way into the end of the pandemic… whatever that means. I was also able to book my first vaccination for next week which is a relief.

I said on social media this week that we would be talking about or referencing the pandemic in conversation for the rest of our lives. These moments of so-called normality, being able to see friends and share coffee, are reminders of just how long, slow and hard the past year has been for so many.
