Universal Works Pleated Track Pant In Navy Cord
Towards the end of the summer with lockdowns and restrictions either ending or just over the horizon, I had a wardrobe re-boot of sorts. I’d mentioned on Instagram a few times about wanting to buy less but buy well. Now it’s time to highlight a few things, starting with the most recent addition.
For a long time I always wore jeans, usually a slimmer or regular fit. When our son was born a couple of years ago I started to wear looser fit trousers purely for comfort reasons, like a tracksuit kind of vibe. Tracksuits were never really my thing unless engaged in sport but, I’m happy to now say that for me the lines between smart, casual and sporty are as defined as we want them to be. Maybe I’m more comfortable in my own skin now that I’m a few years into my forties and am happy to wear what feels and looks good. I’ve always had my own ideas about clothes, nothing radical but definitely not always following the crowd.

The focus here is on the trousers or, as we should be calling them, pants.

And he is of course right. They are super comfortable, a nice weight and in that cord? Oooh, they just feel great. If you are looking for a looser, very relaxed pant that feels like loungewear but still looks super smart then these are worth checking out.
