You were a demon tonight

I bought new boots. On sale of course.

They say demonscale on the side. I wore them for the first time last night and I had what can only be described as, a decent game. Over 35’s versus under 35’s. Last week the unders won 6-3. Last night us overs played a mean, disciplined game and came out 1-0 winners. It was genuinely one of the best games of football I’ve played in and, as I said, I was decent. I won the ball, broke up play, made a few decent runs, some neat and tidy passes and… yea I was happy with how I played.

Afterwards one of the guys said “you were a demon tonight.'“

Perhaps overstating things a little but, nonetheless… are my boots demon possessed?

Last time I changed my boots I had an upturn in form so I won’t get too cocky. I can’t be buying new boots every time I need to play well.

However, great boot. Very tight initially but after an hour of football I could feel them stretch out and move more freely with my foot movement.

Excited for more now.
