Sick of misinformation
Go online, check your social media feed, try to find accurate and helpful information about COVID-19, unemployment or the economy.
You’ll wade through wave after wave of misinformation if you listen to or read the wrong source.
But what’s the right source?
In design or in fact in any job where someone asks you to carry out a task, you’d expect the person asking to have good and correct information. That’s called planning and preparation.
You’d be surprised (probably not) by the amount of misinformation given for what should be the simplest of tasks.
With media and news we are all ok reading half-truth and poorly prepared stories, then discussing them, sharing them and perpetuating misinformation.
In the working world however, it’s just a big waste of time.
